About Mont Tremblant Resort village
The Mont Tremblant Region offers a wonderful opportunity to ‘slip back in time' into another place and culture. Here the ancient French legends of past cultures live on, in harmony with nature. Our towering mountains and deep forests host numerous outdoor activities year-round, making Mont Tremblant so popular that SKI Magazine readers have nominated our region as the No.1 Ski Resort in Eastern North America , for the 8 th consecutive year! Quality of service, food and dining experience are but a few of the accolades which confirm that Mont Tremblant is a great place to visit and a better place to live!
Once considered a winter resort, Mont Tremblant offers numerous activities including alpine and cross-country skiing, snowboarding, dog-sledding and skating. In summer, our busiest season, we offer every imaginable sport, including golf, cycling, watersports, hiking, tennis, inline skating and paragliding, not to mention a host of sporting and cultural events. The warmth and welcoming ‘ joie de vivre' of the Mont Tremblant and St. Jovite people, as well as the wide choice of restaurants and boutiques tucked away in our quant villages help create a place so inviting that many decide to make Tremblant their new mountain home!
The Resort
If you listen closely you can hear the excitement and laughter and picture the scenes of an old Quebec village. Tremblant is a people place, with a resort village alive with a swirl of cultures, cuisines, architecture and languages that reflect its global and open spirit. It is a place which is both old world and new.
With everything within easy walking distance, Tremblant is most definitely a family-oriented place. The Village is anchored by Chateau Mont Tremblant and its 1200-seat conference center. Here village homes exist midst the restaurants, shops and cafes. Right on the top of it all!
For those looking for a quieter neighborhood, the resort also offers the seclusion of the ski-in / ski-out Domaine de la Foret . This collection of mountain homes perched on the south-facing cliff offer spectacular views of the lake and golf course, not to mention the twinkling lights of the village below! Your sprawling deck awaits those moments which will last a lifetime!
If skiing and nightlife are not necessarily your ‘cup of tea', then the ‘Domaine du Geant' community on the ‘ Le Geant' golf course might be just what you are looking for! Here town-homes, houses and building lots cater to those who want to live right on the fairway. The course is USGA rated, designed by Thomas McBroom, one of Canada's most celebrated designers. In addition to the golf, you are also connected to the 10 kilometers of paved bike and inline skating trails, and the Beach and Tennis Club is next door!
