He could be called “The Tremblant Real-Estate Legend”. Just try to imagine the area before Intrawest; the mountain was there, the lakes were there, the natives were there and Bob was like a fish in pure water. His major activity, among several others, was to focus on the development of the area while keeping his mind and actions up to date.

Born and raised in Montreal, he was selling Caterpillar products when he decided, before it was in style, to take a pre-retirement at his father’s cottage on Lac Mercier. His need for action led him to become one of the first real-estate brokers of the area and made a success out of this undertaking. Folks all over the area, be it sellers, buyers, agents would only have a good word to say about Bob’s life’s philosophy.

His goal has always been to conclude good deals and as he says “A good deal is when the seller, the buyer and the agents are completely satisfied, otherwise I must fix it up”.

Terry Goodyear retired to Mont Tremblant after a career as liaison between private industry and agencies in the Federal Government (Department of Agriculture).
